Phillip’s Towing Services has been awarded a $120,000 “Building Reuse Grant” from The North Carolina Rural Infrastructure Authority (RIA) through the City of Fayetteville. These funds will allow the company to renovate and expand its operations, which will result in a significant capital investment in the community and the creation of at least 10 new jobs.
Announced in a press release this morning, this grant will advance Phillip’s Towing Service’s goals of increased operational efficiency and improved customer engagement, expanding its services within the region. Plans include establishing a corporate office at their current location in Fayetteville and constructing a well-equipped call center to serve citizens across Eastern North Carolina. As a result of the project associated with this Grant, Phillip’s Towing will more than double its current staff.

Grants through the NC Department of Commerce are awarded to local governments to support the renovation or expansion of buildings that are either vacant or have been occupied by a company operating in the state of North Carolina for at least twelve months.
